C Hi, my name is Judy Josey and I am from Halifax, Nova Scotia ,Canada .
Nova Scotia is a beautiful province on the most eastern shore of Canada , with many miles of Atlantic Ocean hitting our shoreline.
I have always loved art and started to learn to paint in September of 1999 , starting with books on learning how to sketch,that my son ,Angus,bought me as a gift to get started, and moving on to books to do color pencil work and then oils.
Five years later ,2004 ,I painted oil pictures from photographs. I have finished 7 paintings for my Coastal Scenes of Eastern Canada Collection that I have started . I am really enjoying painting my own style now,very satisfying.
2005, I started to learn how to watercolor and acrylic paint ,I wanted to try other mediums but went back to oils ,I like oil painting the best so far.
2006 , doing oils.....
2007 , back to painting.....
